Reading Joanna Doyle’s review is truly rewarding and greatly appreciated. When writing East to West across Russia: The Long Journey Home, my goal was to bring the landscapes, cultures, and experiences of the journey vividly to life, allowing readers to feel as though they were travelling alongside the protagonist. Knowing that Joanna felt immersed in the train journey and could experience the atmosphere of Russia through its people, places, and local cuisine means a great deal to me. One of the greatest compliments an author can receive is hearing that a reader felt transported into the world of the story.
